Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented
Software Infrastructure Engineer
to join the End-to-End (E2E) System and Infrastructure team at RL Silicon. In this role, you ll focus on designing, building, and maintaining robust software infrastructure for firmware/software development, system integration, and validation across both pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop scalable automation frameworks to support fast, high-quality silicon prototyping, system provisioning, and validation.
Build innovative tools for automated software deployment, test execution, and data analysis within a CI/CD environment.
Create and distribute API libraries for orchestrating silicon development platforms, enabling automated data input/output handling.
Integrate and troubleshoot complex distributed infrastructure systems.
Build data logging and health monitoring solutions for existing dashboards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate 3rd party hardware libraries with custom tools.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in software and test automation (minimum 1 year in silicon/firmware validation).
Strong programming skills in
C/C++
and
Python
with a solid understanding of OOP, algorithms, and data structures.
Experience in software testing and cross-functional team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with complex system integration and testing.
Background in real-time embedded systems.
Familiarity with
ASIC design/prototyping flows
,
FPGA
, and
hardware evaluation boards
.
Experience using
EDA tools
and
ISA simulators
is a plus.
