1. Devise and implement mathematical algorithms for IMU sensor based product line, such as measurement of archer steadiness for archery scope product. 2. Mentor computer engineering, electrical engineering, and/or computer science interns and recent graduate new hires. 3. Systems level engineering of Convolutional neural networks 4. Reading of government requirements such as FCC unintentional radiator requirements 5. Homologation testing of electronic products (intentional and unintentional RF emissions testing, safety testing, etc.) at labs such as UL and TUV Rhineland 6. Design embedded firmware for SoCs (systems on a chip) using C, C++, assembly language. 7. Design of FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) using HDL (Hardware descriptor languages) for synthesis 8. Verification of FPGAs and FPGA based products using HDL simulation, logic analyzers, and lab bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, pattern generators, voltage meters, spectrum analyzers. 9. Leading training courses as an instructor training other engineers on the use of FPGAs, SoCs, and ASoCs (adaptive SoCs) 10. Verification of embedded firmware for adaptive SoCs using C, assembly, and various scripting languages 11. Writing of specifications 12. Reading of specifications written by others Travel: Infrequent domestic travel for training, 5% of the time, which is customary for the position and is supervised.
