Purpose of the Position \:

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for all systems, standards, policies and procedures related to the efficiencies of the equipment at MBUSI and the functions of the maintenance group.

Essential Functions \:

Responsible for analyzing shop efficiency/equipment downtime and provide plans and countermeasures to increase both.
Responsible for developing, maintaining and overseeing maintenance systems and core maintenance activities.
Responsible for leading investigation of breakdowns related to extended downtime & maintenance system failures.
Responsible for leading weekend work activities overseeing/coordinating contractors and supporting maintenance activities.
Responsible for major rebuild, repair, and refurbishment projects.
Responsible for managing outsourcing activities & selection of key service contractors and suppliers. Responsible for auditing all maintenance systems.
Support product changes and their impact on processes, equipment, Paint Process Equipment, in conjunction with supporting departments (Production, Series Planning, Process Engineering, Maintenance, etc.)
Responsible for initial spare parts setup and establishing correct inventory levels.
Work with shop resources to lead system and asset criticality scoring activities and align with planner for updates in SAP.
Create Equipment Maintenance Plan (EMP) for new equipment and buyoff on updated EMP’s.
Attend Root Cause Analysis “RCA” efficiency meeting, support RCA queue updates by sharing RCA status, draft RCA cross functional team and lead/participate in RCA cross functional teams

Perform safe work practices and participate in trainings and safety programs in a positive and proactive way by following safety rules, procedures, regulations, standards and laws. Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and injuries to management, including your supervisor, or the Safety Department.
Work safely 100% of the time.
Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS\: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education \:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related area or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience \:

A minimum of three (3) years' of relevant professional experience in the following area(s)\:industrial equipment, equipment reliability improvement, project planning and implementation.

Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc .\:

Working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCad.
Working knowledge of PLC controls and associated hardware, field bus network systems, robotic systems and associated robotic applications.
General Mechanical Experience

Preferred Skills \:

Rockwell PLC's, ABB Robots, Paint Process Technologies(Ovens, Air Supply Houses, Air Handling), Conveyor Technologies (Oven Conveyors, Vario Shuttles, Elevators etc)
