THE OPPORTUNITY

Responsible for providing support and/or oversight in the Manufacturing areas as relates to systems controls, new product introductions, process improvements, data collection and reports, and root cause/corrective action investigations. In this role, the individual will be required to interact and communicate extensively with both division and plant support personnel (Engineering, PR&D, Maintenance, QA) to assure that projects and/or issues are addressed with little-to-no impact to operations productivity.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Manufacturing support of all Operations capital scope projects and associated technical training for crew members.
  • Support and lead process improvement and technical troubleshooting/corrective action initiatives.
  • Participate in BEx idea generation and implementation for the production area.
  • Perform Administrative duties as required (i.e. meetings, date collection & analysis, trend reports, PM closeout, budgets, orders supplies, travel, etc).
  • All other project work assigned. (Schedule maintenance and engineering work as needed, support engineering studies for plant/division, flexible work schedule).
  • Support new product start-ups, revalidations and/or task force participation.
  • Help in assisting the team in resolving equipment efficiency issues as the SME, uptime and maintenance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 2+ years in Operations
  • Must possess strong leadership skills while demonstrating excellent written, verbal, analytical, and mechanical skills with proficiency in various computer systems and software.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven to effectively manage multi-tasks in a dynamic, team-oriented environment while utilizing good judgment, effective communication, and strong problem solving skills.
