Job Description:

Responsible for new product and special order design implementation, interpreting design requirements, ECN implementation, managing product BOMs, providing documentation and manufacturing support for fixturing/tooling, and determining best assembly methods.

Specific duties include:

• Manage new product designs from engineering to factory floor
• Manage orders for customer “specials”
• Work with design engineering to interpret customer specifications and ensure end product meets them
• Provide documentation support (manage engineering change documentation system, work instructions) as required by manufacturing
• Develop costing for special and standard products
• Review and provide approval for new design details from more junior design engineers
• Provide training to junior design engineers

Job Requirements:

Requires Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and 3 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in a manufacturing-based design or manufacturing role.

Experience must include:

• 3D modeling experience including 3D SolidEdge technical drawing software or equivalent

• Experience in implementing new product designs
• Experience with HVAC manufacturing design

Hybrid remote work is permitted; must live within commuting distance of the worksite.

Occasional travel to our Phoenix metro facility and Suwanee, Georgia facility is required. Travel encompasses 5% of time.
