The Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting engineering operations by combining technical expertise with project leadership. This is a hands-on role that ensures engineering projects meet technical specifications, timelines, and cost objectives while maintaining safety and quality standards. The Project Engineer serves as a key point of contact, coordinating efforts between design, manufacturing, and other functional areas to drive successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet technical, cost, and schedule requirements.

• Support manufacturing and production teams by providing engineering guidance and troubleshooting issues.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and engineering best practices.

• Help coordinate workflow to meet project milestones and customer requirements.

• Participate in the testing and validation of engineering designs and process improvements.

• Assist in training and onboarding team members on technical processes and project-related tasks.

• Monitor project conditions and notify management of any risks, delays, or necessary adjustments.

• Support and participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain open communication with the Vice President of Engineering and other departments to support seamless project execution.

• Lead by example in professionalism, problem-solving, and technical excellence.

• Perform other duties as assigned in support of engineering and production objectives.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • BSEE required
  • 2–4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and support technical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on tasks as needed.
  • Proven experience in a Stamping manufacturing environment.
