Job Summary

Job Title: Environmental Compliance Project Engineer Location: Cupertino, CA Work Model: Hybrid (3 days a week) Salary Range: $100,000 to 125,000/Annual & for Vendors: $60-65/hr CTC Max Objective / Project Overview Environmental Compliance Project Engineer to support client's various Environmental objectives and initiatives, considering current and future key global regulatory requirements. Your work requires you to closely partner with Product Environmental Engineers/Program managers and Subject Matter Experts to support initiatives on energy efficiency, sustainable materials, and phase-outs of hazardous substances. Responsibilities: Validate materials and products with a focus on biocompatibility, energy, packaging, and ecodesign to support product development and compliance systems. Support eco-design regulations. Ensure environmental regulation compliance Support root cause investigations Lead complex projects with tight timelines, ensuring all environmental readiness milestones are achieved. Utilize PLM tools and apply deep knowledge of manufacturing principles and environmental impact assessments. Drive automation and SOP creation to enhance routine compliance tasks and analysis processes. Mandatory Skills: Proven experience in environmental management and compliance, particularly in the context of product development. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. Experience with product teardown and creating detail oriented Assembly Work Center Procedures. Proficient in Project Management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Quip). Excellent Effective Communication skills, with the ability to thrive in both collaborative and independent work environments. Preferred Skills: Experience in energy efficiency and sustainable materials initiatives. Familiarity with eco design regulations and compliance strategies. Knowledge of manufacturing principles and environmental impact assessments. Proactive and highly self motivated with strong Analytical Thinking capabilities.
