Overview
Responsible for program management activities in the project life cycle including construction, close out and turnover to operations on assigned project portfolio.
This position is located in Louisville, KY or Lexington, KY.
The position will be filled based on the selected candidate's experience level: Engineer I, II, III or Principal.
Responsibilities
+ Plans, directs, and ensures the successful management of assigned program utilizing the complete resources of the assigned project management teams.
+ Support the development and maintenance of Program Management support policies, standards and procedures necessary to produce the deliverables from the team and to work effectively with the other teams.
+ Assumes a leadership role in educating the business and technical community on Program management processes and areas of expertise.
+ Performs a variety of routine tasks to become familiar with the engineering methods, practices, and programs of the company.
+ Monitor project status, recognize negative trends, and coordinates corrective action.
+ Manages project budgets and performs monthly forecasting.
+ Purchases equipment, ensures timely invoicing, and monitors receivables.
+ Proactively identify risk and mitigation plans, monitor program status, recognize negative trends, and variances, and coordinates corrective action.
+ Prepares and presents reports giving conclusions of job related engineering activities.
+ Assists with the development of goals, objectives, budgets, programs, and procedures.
+ May be assigned an emergency and storm role.
+ Regularly reviews assignments to assure optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness.
+ Occasionally directs the activities of coops, supervisors, and others as they perform various activities.
+ Performs other duties as directed by management.

ABET Accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
