JOB DESCRIPTION
RSI is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop and validate electrical systems and components. You will be a part of a team consisting of highly skilled engineers and technicians to produce high reliability, cost-effective designs which meet the demanding requirements of the defense industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to:
- Design and develop circuits that are used in a wide variety of weapon systems and commercial spacecraft
- Create technical design packages
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel
- Collaborate with other team members including customers, mechanical engineering, supply chain, and quality control
- Support testing of explosive devices
- Support inventory management control
- Be aware of and operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Use with proficiency Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook as well as several other machine and operation specific computer programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EE or EEE
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in electrical design, breadboard, and test
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Electronic Computer Aided Design software. RSI uses Altium and PCB Artist. Candidate does not need to know these specific applications but should have background in something similar.
- Familiarity with MRP (material resource planning) systems.
- Familiarity with military/aerospace standards.

Work Schedule:
- 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
- No nights or weekends
- Occasional travel
- Work Location: In person
Pay: $115,000 - $160,000 per year depending upon experience
