Hardware Design Engineer 5

We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in the AI hardware space, similar to those like ChatGPT. The successful candidate will work on silicon architecture, designing the overall structure and functionality of silicon chips.

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• 8-10 years of overall experience in the field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with C/C++.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Python
• Contribute to C/C++ test and test platform development.
• Develop Python scripts for test vector generation.
• Develop IP block hardware models in C/C++.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with software test writing or test platform development.
• BS/MS in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• Experience in silicon architecture or microarchitecture.
• Understanding of floating-point formats (IEEE/non-IEEE) and FP arithmetic.
• Expertise in linear algebra and matrix operations.
• Experience with machine learning and neural networks.
• Team player with excellent communication skills and a growth mindset.

• Contribute to C/C++ test and test platform development.
• Develop Python scripts for test vector generation.
• Develop IP block hardware models in C/C++.
• Provide crisp status updates on progress, issues, and risks to the management team.
• Participate in technical meetings and 1:1 meetings with the sponsor.
