Job Description The R&D Electrical Engineering Technician II will play a vital role in designing and developing cutting-edge electronic products aimed at treating peripheral and heart valve diseases. This position supports multiple cross-functional development teams managing projects from concept through commercialization. The technician will engage in various development and engineering activities, focusing on electronic circuit prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting, while also building and maintaining lab tools and equipment. Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of electronic products.
- Support cross-functional development teams from concept to commercialization.
- Perform electronic circuit prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Build and maintain lab tools and equipment.
- Construct and evaluate test fixtures and prototype electronic hardware and systems.
- Utilize electrical tools such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters.
- Read schematics for board layout.
- Assist engineers in qualifying components for boards.
- Proficiency in fixture building, rework, soldering, and cable harness techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Experience with electrical tools such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters.
- 2+ years of relevant experience with electrical or electronic systems.
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology.
- Certified Engineering Technician (CET) accreditation is a plus.
- Experience in testing is advantageous, with training available if needed.
