What You Will Do

All of our engineering and manufacturing is completed in-house, allowing complete control over project timelines. As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Coordinate internal and external resources for the execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using the appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Education & Experience Required
  • Bachelor degree in Project Management, Business Management, Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent preferred
  • Level II: 2+ years experience in Project / Program Management
  • Level II: 3+ years experience in Project / Program Management
    • Selected candidates Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based upon qualifications and experiences.
  • Previous, proven demonstrated excellent team playing abilities with organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant experience leading custom engineered projects
  • Technical knowledge of engineered robotic welding systems
  • Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements
  • Ability to understand system layouts and/or technical manuals
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to project team
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Knowledge of the operating practices of fabrication and manufacturing
  • Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong working knowledge of Project Management Tools like Smartsheet or Microsoft Project is a plus
