- Originate and develop new maintenance procedures and systems, such as vibration analysis programs, maintenance management systems, and calibration systems required for ISO compliance.
- Lead and direct cost-saving projects involving maintenance and engineering-related items.
- Collaborate in work teams to improve production, quality, and address maintenance-related problems within the plant.
- Identify and purchase materials and equipment required by production changes and maintenance for plant operations.
- Interface with CAD operators to create and detail working drawings of projects.
- Schedule and oversee outside contractors required to complete projects.
- Set up inventory of spare parts required for new equipment and write preventative maintenance instructions, prescribing intervals for routine maintenance.
- Handle contingencies including float line rebuild responsibilities.
- Specify and procure equipment for capital projects and procure parts and materials for maintaining existing plant equipment.
- 3+ years of Process or Mechanical engineering expertise
- Experience in project management and supervision
- Ability to originate and develop maintenance procedures
