PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Assists in establishing project scope, goals and deliverables, and developing project plans and timelines.
- Provides management and oversight of small to mid-size IT applications and ancillary project development.
- Plans, designs, researches, writes, and edits a range of documents, including user guides and manuals, technical specifications, software test plans, training materials, user policies, and proposals.
- Serves as a liaison with multiple departments, including IT and business systems, to identify and define business procedures and establish software documentation needs.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and IT development staff to collect and interpret technical information.
- Establishes, communicates, and maintains documentation standards and provide training where required.
- Maintains accuracy and ensures all documentation is current.
- Researches, evaluates, and recommends new documentation tools and methods in support of documentation improvement efforts.
- Performs and coordinates software testing with other departments.
- Analyzes testing issues for accurate reporting.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of information gathering, planning, and organizing methods and principals.
- Experience with desktop publishing and word processing tools, including Microsoft Word.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening, and interviewing skills.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF PREPARATION AND TRAINING NORMALLY REQUIRED:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a technology focused position.
