Position Summary

This position is responsible for managing the vehicle test supply chain including resource management (Proving Ground, Garage, Device handling, etc.), and supervises staff to ensure the objectives are met and work processes are continuously improved. Assigns and prioritizes work, reviews progress and evaluates results. Lead engineering projects and assist in problem solving activities. Develops engineering processes, procedures, methods, and standards. Mentors engineers and other technical staff.

Essential Functions:

**Proving Ground Management**

- Analyze the Proving Ground Facilities in terms of provided services (high utilization/low utilization), price, etc.

- Manage resource distribution between contracted proving ground suppliers.

- Support financial management and operation of proving ground booking and contracting.

**Mileage Accumulation Management**

- Benchmark and harmonize processes within KB/Bendix.

- Develop and establish a working operational process/instruction.

- Define driver profiles and evaluation methods for external partners.

- Identify suppliers who can provide trained and skilled drivers for tests.

- Conduct cost planning and analysis with Product Groups.

- Develop processes for mileage accumulation.

**Resource Distribution**

- Manage fleet, including truck and trailer booking systems.

- Distribute technician resources.

- Distribute test equipment (DAQ, weights, outriggers, load racks, etc.).

**Performance/Cost Evaluation**

Evaluate Proving Ground Utilization.

Assess test equipment distribution performance (outriggers, weights, load racks, trailers, trucks, etc.).

Create
