What Program and Project Management contributes to Cardinal Health Transformation enables the organization to drive complex and transformational programs through disciplined project/program management and change management strategies. Program and Project is responsible for playing a key/critical role in realizing business value through the application of project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet project objectives. This role is responsible for closely collaborating with the OptiFreight upstream product development team to coordinate cross functional efforts that deliver on commitments of the product roadmap. Responsibilities: Facilitating portfolio of strategic product initiatives for transformation initiative, including prioritization for downstream marketing, digital solutions, architecture, and sustain teams Driving project plan management for migration to new data platform Proactively communicates portfolio status (health, forecast, issues, risks, etc.) to stakeholders in an open and honest fashion. Effectively balances competing constraints and priorities including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, funding, budget, resources, and risk, to achieve project success. Balances execution, while mindful of the impact of change across the organization in concert with competing priorities Advances upstream product development capabilities by coaching up and across, acting as key peer and advisor to leadership if direction or focus needs to be redirected Qualifications: BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred. Advance Degree preferred 5 - 7 years with advanced program management knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities (ex: black belt, PMP or agile skill sets) to manage a wide variety of projects of varying size, scope, scale and complexity preferred. Advanced facilitation skills supporting strategy and roadmap creation and corresponding execution plans Demonstrates excellent organizational, project execution, analysis and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines and business priorities. Ability to flex into strategy creation and tactical execution spaces. Strong business acumen, reasoning, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate ambiguity & build portfolio of process, projects and op model governance needed for the organization. Skilled in change management planning, support, and communication Strong team player, with ability to be effective in a performance-oriented culture, ability to mentor team and expectation to mentor other growing leaders across OptiFreight Exercises influential leadership, with the ability to influence decisions and processes working cross-functionally.
