Qualifications and responsibilities for this Transportation Engineer, PE position include: Must hold an active Professional Engineer (PE) license 6-10 years of civil engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on transportation projects, including roadway, street, or highway design Prior experience with IDOT or similar transportation agencies is strongly preferred Proficient in MicroStation with Geopak/OpenRoads or AutoCAD Civil 3D Direct and manage transportation projects including scope, schedule, budget, and team coordination Oversee and support junior engineers and technical staff Prepare proposals and contribute to business development efforts Work in-office with flexibility after probationary period, managing and expanding a local team Salary: $85,000 - $135,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including ESOP participation after one year, 70% employer covered health insurance, company-paid dental and vision for employees, FSA, up to 4.5 weeks PTO over time, flexible scheduling with core hours (9am-3pm), and quarterly straight-time pay for overtime.
