- Perform field investigation and condition assessment of electrical power distribution and control equipment.
- Develop designs for electrical distribution, lighting systems, and control systems for Water and Wastewater facilities using recognized industry standards and specifications.
- Possess preliminary knowledge of instrumentation devices such as level, pressure, temperature, and flow.
- Conduct system calculations and studies for electrical power systems, including load flows, voltage drops, and short circuit/coordination studies using electrical analytical software like SKM Tools.
- Attend design meetings with clients and collaborate with other design consultants working on the project.
- Working knowledge of standards and codes related to electrical distribution and control systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Moderate to good verbal and written communication abilities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 1 year of design experience post-college, preferably from an A/E firm.
- No automotive experience.
