What you'll do:

As a Staff Engineer II you'll provide expertise in a suite of technical tools and The Vulnerability Remediation engineer will be responsible in providing support, and security compliance assessment for systems and services for Infrastructure and Operations teams. This role will be prioritizing, and managing management action plans, issues (audit and non-audit) within Infrastructure and operation teams. As an engineer, you will contribute to the team's capabilities by demonstrating technical competence, initiative, creativity, learning, sharing, and teamwork while collaborating with distributed team members and stakeholders.

  • Assess, prioritize, and coordinate with Infrastructure and operations teams in the remediation of non-compliant on-premises or cloud resources.
  • Leverage service now for incident management and change management.
  • Review and identify monthly KRI reports published by Security, risk, and compliance teams.
  • Working knowledge of assisting management action plans relevant to vulnerability and patch management.
  • Experience with power BI dashboard creation and management.
  • Experience in collaborating with multiple teams on risk exception procedures.
  • Work with team members and mentors.
  • Establish practices to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Develop documentation, user manuals, and policy and procedure information.
  • Report to management daily on project status, deployment results, and daily operations.
  • Work with stakeholders to achieve business goals.
  • Document SOPs and help junior team members.
  • Develop strategies to meet business goals.
  • Work as a Team Player with a "can do" attitude with proven leadership, communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills. The role requires significant interaction with many different teams across a global company.
  • Support business requirements and provide appropriate solutions using technology.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
  • Minimum 7 years overall IT experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Infrastructure and or Platform Engineering
  • Solid understanding with regulatory frameworks and standards such as NIST & COBIT
  • Strong troubleshooting skills. Project Management knowledge and understanding of Scrum and Agile workflows.
  • Experience in the financial services industry with proven regulatory and compliance discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, deliver innovation, and drive improved customer and employee experience.
  • Excellent analytical and business consulting skills with demonstrated experience in strategic planning, program execution, and development of strong risk management practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Advanced proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Additional experience with pipeline development and leveraging Azure DevOps while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced ability to see the big picture and align projects with organizational goals. Capable of leading and motivating cross-functional teams. Expertise in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges as well as skilled at identifying and mitigating risks at the project level. Proficient in governance patterns tied to intake, technical reviews, and architectural compliance.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences and senior management.
  • May require up to 25% travel.
