Job Description:

  • Manage field crews, manage client relations, run construction stakeout projects
  • Project Management: Lead and manage construction layout and stakeout projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Stakeout Data Preparation: Generate stakeout data for construction layout, ensuring precision and compliance with project specifications.
  • CAD Design (Civil 3D): Create detailed CAD drawings for construction layout and stakeout purposes, including site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with surveyors, technicians, project coordinators, and support staff to ensure all data is accurate and project is staying on task and time.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control checks on all drawings and stakeout data to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CAD software and equipment used in construction layout and stakeout.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all project drawings, stakeout data, and related documentation for future reference.
  • Can organize DWG files utilizing Xrefs, Dynamic Blocks, Layers, and Colors.

Requirements:

  • Experience on construction stakeout projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience in project management (proposals, scheduling, budgeting, etc.)
  • PLS preferred but not required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $55.29/hr.
