Role Description:

We are seeking an Embedded Field Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation) to support day-to-day operations, technical troubleshooting, and field execution for facility upgrades in partnership. The role is fully onsite in Spring, TX and requires experience in electrical, power systems, instrumentation, and controls, with a strong focus on field engineering and project execution.

You'll be responsible for (Responsibilities):

  • Serve as a liaison between on-site teams and offshore engineering teams (India).
  • Manage and support the execution of facility upgrade projects including terminals, tank farms, pipelines, and salt dome storage.
  • Support scope definition, design reviews, HAZOPs, estimates, procurement, scheduling, and construction.
  • Provide multi-discipline support and resolve operational issues across electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Develop work packages, draft proposals, and perform precise field verification and data collection.
  • Interface with valves, breakers, PLCs, cables, and instrumentation systems.
  • Coordinate with Business Unit stakeholders and vendors.
  • Ensure timely communication with project managers and design teams.
  • Support quality assurance, vendor coordination, and documentation.
  • Participate in project metrics reporting and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of field engineering experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I).
  • Completion of a Design/Drafting curriculum from an accredited institution (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.
  • Ability to work across time zones (India/US).

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • AutoCAD
  • PLCs and Instrumentation Systems
  • Electrical & Instrument Design
  • Power System Calculations (SKM, ETAP)
  • Field Engineering & Oil & Gas Design
  • FEED & Detail Design knowledge
  • Interface knowledge of Mechanical, Piping, and Civil disciplines

You'll have (Qualification & Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
