Title: Tower Project Manager

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay rate: 90k -110k

Anistar is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tower Project Manager to lead wireless infrastructure projects, including the construction, upgrade, and maintenance of communication towers. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of project delivery, ensuring timely execution, compliance with safety standards, and alignment with customer expectations and budget.

Scope of work:

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of tower construction projects
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with site acquisition, engineering, construction, and logistics teams.
• Supervise subcontractors and field crews to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FAA, FCC, OSHA).
• Communicate project status to clients and internal stakeholders regularly.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and cost overruns.

Work Environment:

• Split between office and field/site visits
• Travel may be required (regionally)
• Ability to climb towers

Skills & Certifications:

• Certifications

• CPR

• OSHA 10 and 30

• Climber Safety

• Authorized Climber

• Authorized Rescuer

• RF Awareness

• Anritsu Certified (Sweep Testing)

• Comtrain Climber

• Experience with CAD drawings, structural analysis reports

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering documentation

• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in different markets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-7 years of project management experience in tower or wireless telecom infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of tower types (monopole, guyed, lattice), wireless technologies (LTE, 5G), and construction best practices.
• Familiarity with construction management software and MS Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
