An excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a worldwide manufacturer of industrial bakery
equipment. Requires a minimum of 3 years experience and a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.
This position requires a basic mechanical understanding of the equipment, experience with CAD systems
(AutoCAD and/or Inventor), and proficiency with the MS-Office suite. Effective communication skills for
internal and external interface as well as organizational, planning, and managing skills are essential. This
position will be responsible to develop products designed for manufacturing and implement cost effective
designs to keep a competitive edge. Interaction with design team members and other engineering groups as
well as manufacturing personnel and production/purchasing individuals will be required. A person in this
position must be able to perform:
- Timely execution of work to assure manufacture and shipment of equipment.
- Development, design and implementation of Thermal equipment that is a large portion of the
business.
- Validate designs in-house and field test prototypes at customer locations when necessary.
- Generate all necessary documentation for the manufacture, support, and operation
- Electrical engineering design for Equipment control panels, hardware, software, programming, external
wiring and routing following the protocols which have been established.
- To create and maintain detailed drawings, bills of materials, documentation and programs. Assist shop
personnel with panel builds and commission electrical panels prier to shipment.
- Available to travel 5% or as needed.
- Creates innovative new designs to meet industry requirements.
- Evaluate new projects and recommend changes where appropriate.
- Maintain relationships within the industry including technical associations to ensure awareness of industry
and technical trends, as well as national and international standards.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing, as required by customer inquiries for new designs.
Provide counsel and guidance regarding thermal problems.
- Assists Sales and Marketing in preparing proposals and participates in the presentation to customers, as
required.
- Prepares and presents engineering responses to customer inquiries requiring new designs.
- Generate and present technical reports and product specifications
- Responsible for compliance with N.E.C., U.L., CE and other codes as required.
- Reports and is accountable to the Engineering Manager. Informs supervisor of all significant activities and
developments.

- Work with the Engineering Manager to develop future products, and establish goals regarding the design of
future products.
Qualifications
- Electrical engineering degree with at least three years experience in control panel design.
- Experience in the food industry is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Experience with RSLogix 500 and RSLogix 5000 PLC software.
- Experience with Allen Bradley Panelview +6 touchscreens and software.
- Experience with robotic controls such as Fanuc and ABB a plus but not mandatory.
