Director of Engineering / Superintendent

Oversees design, staking and work order preparation for all electrical extensions and improvements to Carbons electrical system in accordance with approved engineering standards. Has knowledge of right of way, licenses and permits. Oversees Engineering department employees. Works with Member/Owners and Developers to secure completed applications and agreements for electrical services. Reports to the board at monthly meetings.

College degree or equivalent education and work experience. Five years of experience (three for Superintendent), RUS preferred, in power line staking or related field. Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience and understanding of electrical theory, computer applications, surveying, drafting and Rural Utilities Service construction specifications a plus.
