APEX Systems is seeking an ASIC DFT (Design for Test) Engineer to join our client's innovative ASIC design team.

?? What You'll Do

• Lead DFT strategy and implementation for complex ASIC designs
• Apply advanced digital design concepts to ensure testability and reliability
• Collaborate across engineering teams to integrate DFT into the full product lifecycle
• Utilize industry-standard tools for test insertion, ATPG, and pattern generation
• Analyze and debug test failures and support test vector implementation on hardware
• Follow structured development processes and contribute to continuous improvement

? What You Bring

• Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering + 8 years of experience
• (or Master's + 6 years)
• U.S. Citizenship
• Full lifecycle ASIC design experience
• Proficiency with Cadence and/or Mentor DFT tools
• Expertise in:
  • Hierarchical scan testing
  • IEEE-1500/1687, JTAG (1149.1/1149.6)
  • Memory BIST and Logic BIST
  • Test pattern generation and failure analysis
• Strong skills in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog
• Scripting experience (Tcl, Python, or Perl)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Experience with Cadence Modus DFT tools
• Familiarity with synthesis, place & route, and static timing analysis
