Assistant Project Manager - Mechanical Contractor

Qualifications

Have the ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, purchase orders, contracts, etc
Experience in HVAC industry is required, 5+ years

Responsibilities
Work closely with all members of the construction management team from start to finish.
Visit project sites and perform quality control.
Communicate regularly with client site personnel to keep jobs on track.
Work with PM and GC on project submittals obtaining documentation & approvals.
Work with PM on project buyout and schedule.
Schedule and coordinate equipment and material orders with the construction management team.
Have a working knowledge of all equipment and common materials utilized on job projects.
Assist Project Coordinator with maintaining Submittal Logs, RFIs, and Change Order Logs
Assist Project Manager with maintaining and updating schedule.
