Mechanical Engineer Job Summary**
Maintenance Engineers help keep equipment and machinery running smoothly. They plan and perform maintenance, handle emergency repairs, and make sure machines work safely and efficiently. This role is key in reducing downtime, improving production, and making the workplace safer and more reliable.
**Main Responsibilities**
+ Create and update maintenance plans for equipment.
+ Set maintenance procedures and make sure theyre followed.
+ Supervise and support maintenance technicians.
+ Perform regular checks to spot issues early.
+ Handle urgent repairs when machines break down.
+ Track all maintenance work, both planned and emergency.
+ Stay within maintenance budgets.
+ Make sure all safety rules are followed during maintenance.
+ Use root cause analysis to solve recurring issues.
+ Lead improvement efforts for equipment efficiency.
+ Work safely and report any unsafe conditions.
+ Support safety investigations and help find long-term solutions.
+ Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Must be 18 years or older.
+ Bachelors degree in engineering or related field (preferred), or equivalent work experience.
+ At least 5 years of relevant maintenance or engineering experience.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills.
+ Comfortable using computers and maintenance software.
+ Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ Able to work some weekends or during equipment shutdowns.
+ Motivated, dependable, and a team player.
**Preferred Skills**
+ Experience with Microsoft Office.
+ Able to read technical documents and write clear repair reports.
+ Strong mechanical or electrical skills.
+ Skilled with hand tools and basic fabrication.
+ Experience using electrical testing equipment.
+ Able to train others and lead small teams.
**Physical Requirements**
+ This position is very active and requires frequent (4 to 12 hours) standing, walking (on concrete surfaces), bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, squatting, crawling, twisting, climbing, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead, (Or otherwise awkward positions necessary to fix equipment).
+ Lift or move items over 50 lbs regularly.
+ Work in hot, cold, loud, or dusty environments.
+ Use ladders, lifts, and work safely at heights up to 30 feet.
+ Good vision and hand coordination are needed for precise work _Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities._
**Pay Details:** $55.00 to $74.00 per hour
