Position Description
Are you a seasoned electrical design professional with a passion for precision engineering and innovation? CTS International is seeking a highly skilled Wire & Design Engineer (Level 3) to join our client's team. In this dynamic role, you will design, develop, and maintain complex wire harness systems and electrical assemblies used in cutting-edge aerospace and high-tech environments. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful engineering projects while working with some of the most advanced tools and technologies in the industry.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs
Analyze results and perform design reviews
Develop and maintain electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas)
Provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests)
Document processes, specifications, and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities
Develop basic statements of work
Participate in technical reviews of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection
Analyze functional and physical input to ensure development of complete integrated designs
Work under general direction

5+ years of relevant experience
Education Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
