Overview
Our client is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer IV with a strong background in the Natural Gas Industry, particularly in mainline compression. This operational role requires expertise in hydraulic modeling for natural gas pipelines and compressors. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong prioritization, and organizational skills. Proficiency in software programs such as FlowDesk, NextGen, WinFlow, or Synergi Gas is essential.
Responsibilities
Conduct hydraulic modeling for natural gas pipelines and compressors, utilizing industry-standard software.
Collaborate with team members to address operational challenges and optimize system performance.
Engage in "What if" scenario analysis to anticipate and solve potential issues.
Prioritize tasks effectively to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
Own and resolve issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
Participate in video conference interviews via MS TEAMS.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
7-10 years of hydraulic modeling experience in the Natural Gas Industry, with a focus on mainline compression.
Proficiency in software programs such as FlowDesk, NextGen, WinFlow, or Synergi Gas.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct "What if" analyses.
Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
