We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. Position Summary:

The Project Engineer is a key role in our Program Management team. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing engineering projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardswhile maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Leverage a deep understanding of customer specifications and requirements to ensure all project engineering deliverables align with expectations and timelines. Proactively identify and resolve project challenges to achieve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.

Manage engineering scope changes related to contracts and purchase orders. Lead engineering change projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets. Travel to customer facilities as needed to support project execution and resolve issues.

Utilize a structured project gate model to define scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines. Assign clear ownership of project tasks and support team members with tools and feedback. Participate in post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Monitor project milestones and ensure deadlines are consistently met. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and challenges. Communicate project status and escalate issues to the Senior Program Manager.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Mid-level professional with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in mechanical design engineering, with the ability to work independently and contribute to complex projects

Experience in program management, automation, assembly systems or tooling preferred

Education:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is desired

Well qualified individuals with comparable years of experience will be considered

Technical Skills:

Proficient with Siemens PLM software and AutoCAD

Experience with an ERP System is preferred

Proficient skills in MS Office, advanced skills in MS Excel

Demonstrate consistent professionalism in all interactions, including respectful communication, accountability, ethical decision making and adherence to company values and standards.

Work Environment: This position operates in both an office and a manufacturing site environment

Work type: Regularly works on-site at Paslin locations, up to 30% remote at customer site.

Role Experience Level: Mid-level professional with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience

Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. Occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs.

Expected Hours of Work: This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business.

Direct Reports: This position does not have direct reports.

Travel: This position requires occasional local travel between Paslin sites, and frequent overnight travel to customer sites up to 30%. Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to sites in USA, Canada and Mexico.
