Role: Hardware Design Engineer

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Round Rock, TX (just north of Austin) || 4 Days Per Week Onsite Role & 1 day Remote

Hardware design their devices are generally low power, I/O and control modules. Wants to see functional safety experience as well.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPEREIENCE & SKILLS Bachelors degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or a related STEM degree and 8 or more years of relevant experience
Or Masters degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or a related STEM degree and 7 or more years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of Functional Safety standards
Experience in safety-critical electronic system design, including redundancy, fault detection, and mitigation techniques.
Proficiency in hardware safety analysis methods.
Hands-on experience with EMC, thermal, and environmental testing for safety-critical systems.
Expertise in PCB design tools and simulation tools
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
Experience working with certification agencies and regulatory bodies.
