Associate Technical Engineer
Location: New Albany, OH (Onsite)
Job Summary:
Join our team and make a difference! As an Associate Technical Engineer, you'll provide essential support for equipment optimization, upgrades, and repairs. Ensure all systems meet industry and regulatory standards in our client's inspection and packaging area.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate on technical support for engineering, compliance, and process automation issues.
Perform maintenance and monitor plant equipment following industry standards and company policies.
Investigate equipment issues with guidance from experienced staff.
Maintain and manage spare parts inventory for equipment and systems.
Evaluate and improve maintenance procedures to enhance efficiency and resolve equipment failures.
Support operations during non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Skills Required:
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of maintenance experience, or an Associate's Degree with 6 months of experience.
Background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
Experience with mechanical equipment repair in a manufacturing setting, especially packaging equipment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of PLC, computer serialization, and vision inspection systems.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
