Electrical Engineer

Design, develop, test, and support electrical components and harness assemblies for commercial HVAC products in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or within one semester of completion

• 2+ years of experience with electrical components in an industrial or manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of UL508 control panel design and assembly

• Experience sizing electrical components per NEC and UL508 standards

• Hands-on experience with harness manufacturing and wire harness design

• Familiarity with circuit breakers, fuse blocks, power distribution blocks, control box layouts, and unit schematics

• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis

• Experience using Creo and AutoCAD (minimal design work)

Preferred Skills:

• Project management background

• Ability to organize and distribute technical information across teams

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test electrical equipment and components, including control panel controls, power components, and schematics

• Support qualification and validation of harness assemblies and electrical components

• Simulate and test system operations for functionality and safety

• Evaluate cost, reliability, and compliance of electrical designs

• Estimate time and cost to complete projects

• Conduct investigations and comparisons of vendor and competitor products

• Support both new product development and existing product enhancements within the manufacturing plant

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
