Location: Bucks, Alabama

Type: 18 month Contract
Compensation: $35.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite

System One is currently seeking a Project Coordinator on a 18 month contract position located in Bucks, AL.

Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
  • Provides day to day support to project managers and supervision to ensure their assigned projects are properly set up, assigned, and tracked appropriately throughout their lifecycle.
  • Possesses a strong working knowledge of work management systems to help coordinate engineering and construction activities.
  • Has daily interaction with field, engineering, operations, and/or support personnel.
  • Plays an active role in project analysis, project workflow, and the preparation of deliverables to achieve defined objectives.
  • Utilizes data gathering tools and methods to analyze and gather data needed for project requirements.
  • Supports the project team on project administration and process improvements Facilitate effective project meetings (project kickoff, status, progress review, etc.)

Project Coordinator Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college coursework or a degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in project coordination, or a similar role is required.
  • Understanding and knowledge of substations, transformers, switchgear, and distribution lines is desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with project teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to track project activities, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement changes as necessary.
  • Familiarity with utility industry terminology, processes, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
