Key Responsibilities

  • Seeking a Project Manager to lead petroleum restoration projects that safeguard communities, restore ecosystems, and drive environmental progress across Florida and the Gulf Coast.

  • This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex remediation efforts under the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP) and similar state-led initiatives. We solve environmental challenges with science, purpose, and integrity.

  • Manage environmental remediation projects under the FDEP PRP and equivalent programs.

  • Oversee site assessments, sampling, and system operations and maintenance (O&M).

  • Prepare technical reports and work plans, including SARs, RAPs, and pilot test protocols.

  • Coordinate field activities such as drilling, system installation, and compliance monitoring.

  • Manage project budgets and regulatory milestones.

  • Serve as a liaison with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of environmental consulting experience, with at least 3 years in petroleum site remediation.

  • Familiarity with FDEP PRP, ATC procedures, and OCCS documentation.

  • Strong technical writing, project management, and communication skills.

  • Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain/refresh).

  • PE or PG license preferred, or ability to obtain within one year.
