We are seeking Full time Contract Electrical Engineer to support ongoing circuit design development, circuit design analysis, and testing of Aerospace-related hardware. The Resource will contribute to board-level design efforts, perform detailed circuit analysis, conduct bench testing, and participate in comprehensive requirements reviews. All work will be conducted in accordance with compliance standards including DO-254, DO-160, and MIL-STD-810. Full time US Person on site in Rockford IL.

What You will Do:

Conduct bench-level electrical/electronic testing and troubleshooting to validate system performance.

Create and review schematics and develop detailed test procedures with defined test limits.

Perform requirements validation and verification to ensure compliance with functional and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineers.

Produce accurate and comprehensive technical documentation, including test reports and stakeholder presentations

Work Experience

What You Will Bring (experience/qualifications)

BA Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

A solid foundation in circuit theory, signal processing, electronics, and applied mathematics.

Proficiency in circuit design analysis, including stress/performance modeling using Excel-based tools.

Familiarity with DO-254, DO-160, and MIL-STD-810 compliance standards.

Experience with electrical/electronic test equipment and validation/verification tools.

Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of avionics integration and embedded systems development preferred

Familiarity with aerospace/military safety standards and environmental testing protocols preferred

Prior experience with aircraft electrical/electronic systems in commercial or military applications preferred

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be a US Permanent Resident or US Citizen

Hourly pay rate: $41.00 to $43.27 [depending on experience]

FT Temporary: Limited Benefits include> Medical, Dental & Vision

100% onsite, Rockford ILL USA

This position is a 6-month long term temporary contract with the strong possibility of extension/conversion to fulltime regular.

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
