Role: Mechanical Engineer Location: San Jose, CA - Onsite What You'll Do
- As an experienced Mechanical Engineer , you would be responsible for mechanical design, analyzing the technical specifications and system mechanical requirements to determine best approach, feasibility of schedule and cost constraints for mechanical system & thermal solutions. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within Cisco by harnessing new testing technologies and methodologies. Provide exceptional support to external and internal customers, team members, and other persons and functional groups through technical project cooperation.
- You will cover the mechanical design for ToR chassis, Modular chassis, PCB board placement, system thermal solutions thru liquid cooling and air cooling.
- You will involve the component selection, assembly process definition in production, thru working together with the manufacturing team.
- You will involve performance testing and reliability testing,
- BSME relevant industry experience (or equivalent degrees) or MSEE of experience.
- Required minimum experience on 3D mechanical design tools, such as NX MCAD, Creo.
