**Key Responsibilities:**
+ You will participate in the product development and production support phases and will be a coach and mentor to less experienced engineers.
+ Lead for the Engine and Power Systems Technical Validation group supporting our existing products and Next Generation Turbofan.
+ Technical validator of aerospace engineering drawings ensuring full definition and adherence to company and industry standards.
+ Review engineering drawings for correct usage of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to meet design intent.
+ Review engineering designs for proper usage of model-based practices and standards.
+ Model validation.
+ Assess designs for dimensional accuracy, manufacturability and cost.
**YOU MUST HAVE:**
+ Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics or equivalent experience
+ 8+ years of experience in mechanical design with experience and deep understanding of Engineering drawings using ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and model-based engineering.
+ Experience and understanding of gas turbine engine components.
+ Proven application of ASME drawing standards including ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
+ Experience with Honeywell drawing/model interpretation specifications such as HGS1003, SC7000, SC6500 and SC6000.
+ Experience with Honeywell Drawing Requirements Manual (DRM) and Aerospace Procedures.
+ Deep understanding of engineering drawings/models interpretation, preparation, and review.
+ Experience in Detailed Design phase.
+ Experience with Legacy Drawings and specifications.
+ Talent to act as a mentor and coach.
+ Demonstrated experience in coordinating and overseeing individuals with experience leading small teams.
