Senior Electrical Engineer

A Senior Electrical Engineer is needed for a company that transports, distributes and generates energy, with diversified assets that include a balance between crude oil and natural gas in the Houston, TX area. The Senior Electrical Engineer manages the electrical and controls design for capital projects, ensuring compliance with standards, overseeing third-party engineering firms, and providing technical leadership and support from design through commissioning.

responsibilities:

• Ensures project designs comply with company and industry standards.
  
  
• Liaises with various internal and external groups to ensure project requirements are met.
  
  
• Develops project scope, schedule, and cost estimates.
  
  
• Manages third-party engineering firms' execution of design deliverables.
  
  
• Reviews and approves design documents, technical reports, and vendor material quotations.
  
  
• Provides technical support during construction and commissioning.
  
  
• Incorporates lessons learned from past projects into future designs.
  
  
• Mentors and provides technical guidance to junior engineers.

Desired Skills:

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation.
  
  
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
