The Project Coordinator will support the Global Design Project Management team across a wide range of creative initiatives, including social media, digital campaigns, brand identity, and event design. This position reports to the Director of Project Management, and works closely with the Project Managers and Designers to plan and manage team goals and workflows. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a dynamic team, providing exposure to how cross-functional creative work is executed in a fast-paced environment. You'll learn how large-scale design projects are managed and executed across a global brand, as well as strategic planning and day- to-day project management.
Responsibilities
Project Management support
Track project deliverables, deadlines, and task progress
Assign tasks based on team availability and priorities
Build and maintain project timelines and roadmaps
Maintain organized project files and documentation
Compile project reports as needed
Assist on event and internal signage and supply needs
Coordinate internal office signage requests
Assist on internal department print needs
Develop checklists and timelines for event graphic needs
Procure supplies, props, and outfitting for special events
Departmental administrative support
Coordinate domestic and international shipments and couriers
Manage supply orders and inventory management
Collect, record and submit invoices for payment
Collect and submit event expenses and reports
Set up user access to the MLB Style Guide and troubleshoot requests
Create monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing or graphic design/studio experience
- Basic understanding of graphic design
- Familiarity with MLB and the 30 Clubs
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
- Proficient in Project Management tools, Asana strongly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Familiar with Adobe programs preferred, not required
Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
