Process Engineer

Business is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer with expertise in polymer processing and fiber technologies. The role will provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis to the production facility for complex production issues impacting capacity, yield, or quality. As the final step in process development, the role will work closely with site operations and external contractors to commercialize the product.

Qualifications:

BS Engineering discipline required (Mechanical Preferred)

3-5 years of manufacturing or related experience required (Preferred in a chemical process environment)

Experience with chemical processing

Prior experience in applications development or R&D preferred

Responsibilities:

Ensure that experimental results are routinely and properly recorded.

Work effectively with technicians and mechanics

Prepare technical reports, data summaries, protocols and other technical and regulatory documents as needed.

Develop an understanding of the relationships between process parameters and product properties

Leads or Participates in front end loading of capital projects.

Lead or Participates in Process Hazards Analysis (PHAs) for existing or new processes.

First contact for advanced troubleshooting for Operations.

Provide required engineering support for Root Cause Investigations (RCIs).

Validates technical solutions and documents results to drive toward a standardized Process Technology.

Provides technical input for Management of Change.

Lead or Participate in Project Reviews.

Collaborates across MT, Operations, EH&S, R&D, Contract Management etc.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
