We are seeking a hands-on Chemical Integration/Tool Engineering Project Engineer to join our Windsor Locks team. This is a critical role supporting internal stakeholders in both the chemical and tooling domains You will ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency in all related processes.

As a Project Engineer, you will work directly with engineering, operations, and chemical integration teams, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and supporting a variety of process improvement initiatives. You will assist with process tracking, documentation, workflow development, basic automation, report generation, and meeting facilitation, all while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and adaptable, with a passion for process optimization and strong communication skills.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal customers on both chemical integration and tool engineering needs.

  • Facilitate and host cross-functional meetings to drive project execution, track progress, and ensure alignment across teams.

  • Develop, document, and implement new processes and standard work to support compliance, efficiency, and safety within chemical management and tool engineering operations.

  • Maintain and update process trackers, dashboards, and related documentation to monitor project milestones and deliverables.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in streamlining workflows through basic automation and digital tools (such as Excel macros or SharePoint lists).

  • Prepare and deliver clear, actionable reports and presentations to stakeholders at all levels, summarizing key metrics, project status, and recommendations.

  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with engineering, operations, chemical management, and other internal partners.

  • Assist with training team members and stakeholders on new or revised standard work, processes, or digital tools.

  • Must be willing and able to travel 5% of the time

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  • 1+ years experience with Tool Engineering principles

  • 1+ years experience working with GD&T, CAD and Drafting

  • 1+ years experience managing external suppliers workload, data input, data output, and training requirements

  • 1+ years experience working on the shop floor dealing with real world dynamic challenges

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to speak to both internal and external customers at all levels of management

  • Prior work with process improvement projects

  • Prior experience in the Aerospace Industry

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
