This position will be located in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL and will support the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You'll Get To Do: Create and implement deployable mechanical mechanisms that are verified through test/analysis Develop CAD models visualizing various design solutions Deliver required PDPs on time to meet program objectives Identify gaps within a design and/or requirements and provide a resolution that is cost effective, innovative, and has minimal impact to others Ensure the developed PDPs meet the design requirements from the various element/configured item specifications Will integrate delivered LRUs under direction of the technical lead. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday of You'll Bring These Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and with 5 years of experience; or Master's degree with 3 years of experience; PhD with 1 years of experience. Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need Experience performing CAD modeling with design tools such as Siemens NX or similar Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word Experience performing mechanical design efforts on MILCON, major infrastructure/building projects, or Aerospace and Defense programs. Ability to understand and interpret requirements These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Must be able to work independently, function in a dynamic environment, and be flexible to changing direction Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly and succinctly communicate complex concepts Exposure to missiles program requirements & with propulsion Proficient with 3D design/2D drawing CAD in NX Proficient with PDM and/or CPLM Proficient with GD&T and ASME Y14.5-2009 Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $143,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
