Mechanical Engineer 2

Under general direction, provides extended expertise in designing, developing, and testing a wide range of mechanical products per requirements and specifications. Meets high level of engineering standards per design specifications. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Designs, develops, and tests mechanical components. Participates in engineering activities to define product requirements, create designs, perform simulation testing, and validate final hardware components Performs mechanical development and integration using Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) concepts and applicable methods and procedures. Siemens NX a plus Performs mechanical development and integration assignments, conducts value analysis during the product design phase while optimizing development costs, solves technical problems, and improves existing designs Evaluates process inputs and refines processes to achieve conforming results. This may include knowledge and testing of material parameters through various testing methods Collaborating with production teams to ensure the successful manufacture of composite products
