Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee complex civil and marine construction projects. This role requires a dynamic individual who can motivate, manage, teach, and mentor team members while creating an efficient and positive work environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring all work meets quality standards and complies with contractual and permit requirements.
Responsibilities
- Motivate, manage, teach, and mentor team members to create an efficient and positive work environment.
- Execute projects by ensuring all work meets quality standards and complies with contract and permit requirements.
- Review project proposals/plans to determine and coordinate time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
- Ensure timely completion of projects using a CPM baseline schedule and monthly schedule updates approved by the client.
- Schedule and ensure adequate resources are available, including management staff, crews, equipment, and supplies.
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
- Act as the authorized project representative responsible for all aspects of the project, including safety, environmental, quality, ethics, financial, contractual, and schedule compliance.
Essential Skills
- Project management experience in civil and marine construction.
- Construction management expertise.
- Ability to plan, direct, and coordinate activities to achieve project goals within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of construction experience within marine construction or heavy civil engineering.
- Project management and supervisory experience.
- Valid US Driver's License.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Experience with scheduling, estimating, and project management software.
- Experience in marine structures, heavy lifts, or concrete construction.
- First Aid/CPR Certification preferred.
- 30-hour OSHA Certification preferred.
- Fall Protection Competent Person preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
