Title: Project/Portfolio Manager Location: Conway, AR Job Type: Contract to Hire, Full-Time (Full benefits and PTO during Contract period) SUMMARY Kelly Engineering is looking for a qualified Project Manager to join our clients team in their Conway, Arkansas location. This is an exciting opportunity for a leading provider of interconnect solutions with more than 75 years in the market. Seeking a self-starter who enjoys problem-solving. This role involves serving as a Technical Project Coordinator, focusing on managing and coordinating manufacturing projects within the Conway, Arkansas facility and internationally, primarily in Guadalajara, Mexico, and parts of Asia. The successful candidate will manage 10-15 simultaneous projects, coordinating activities between different business units and proof-of-concept labs located in Lisle and Conway, AR. RESPONSIBILITIES Proof of Concept (POC) Lab Project Management Portfolio Management Analyze trends; m onitor progress, identify risks, coordinate with project teams to identify issues and risks for improvement opportunities; and design strategies to mitigate future risks within the portfolio Identify interdependencies between projects for share resources and activities Portfolio schedule development according to dependencies and priorities Overall profitability tracking and time to first part and ramp tracking New Technology Development Project Management Cross-functional collaboration Work closely with function leaders, stakeholders, and line managers to align project portfolio strategies. Facilitate communication and alignment among stakeholders including challenge sessions on manufacturing strategies Resolve conflicts and promote a collaborative work environment. Technology Integration and Portfolio Reporting and Analytics Oversee the adoption of new technologies and tools. Support digital transformation within the factory. Process Monitoring and Risk Managemen Monitor overall project risks within portfolio and escalate issues as needed Project KPI monitoring for Pre-Production and Production phases and provide improvement ideas Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies Evaluate and visualize project progress, expenses, and resources. Leadership and Team Development Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence. QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of relevant experience within a manufacturing project management role Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other Project Management related certification helpful Familiarity with project management tools such as, MS project, JIRA, SmartSheet etc. Familiar with Microsoft 365 software to work in a collaborative environment Ability to navigate through uncertainties and adapt to fast-changing business environment Ability to motivate and guide a team toward project goals. Effective at identifying and resolving project-related challenges. Summarizing and simplifying complicated communications to give members a clear message. Skilled at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines . Proven experience in portfolio management or a related field. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Passion for driving strategic initiatives and delivering exceptional results .
