Compensation Range:

$63,815.00 - $95,723.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE
Specializes in electrical systems, components, and technologies. Assists in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems, ranging from power distribution and electronics to control systems. Completes circuit design, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Follows procedures accurately and assembles, tests, and repairs cable harnesses, circuit boards, and other components using hand tools to maintain equipment.
  • Assists in first level troubleshooting and repairing of equipment, including using oscilloscopes for detailed analysis.
  • Reads and interprets electrical and electronic schematics, troubleshoots to the component level, and orders necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Assists in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems, ranging from power distribution and electronics to control systems.
  • Utilizes design tools, such as Altium Designer, PSpice, Microsoft Visio, and Matlab, to complete tasks.
  • Specifies components based on performance, reliability, and fit requirements, drawing on experience in analog and digital design.
  • Assists in the development and creation of specialized control systems with graphical user interfaces and embedded components capable of advanced functions, such as remote data logging.
  • Performs maintenance on equipment, tests new builds, and uses soldering irons, hand tools, power supplies, multimeters, and other testing setups as required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
