Were searching for a highly qualified Project Manager for the Lab Administration Department, working closely with senior and executive management to lead, plan, create, and execute projects that have a direct impact on the companys success. Leading, developing, and delivering on a variety of projects (facility build-outs, enterprise software rollouts, process-improvement programs, audits) across the organization to help us maintain our position as a leader in laboratory contract services. The ideal candidate will have formal Project Management experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans and proficiency in Project Tools such as MS Project, Asana, Trello. The Project Manager will be responsible for building and developing project teams, leading projects from requirements definition through deployment, coordinating internal and external resources, analyzing project status, and revising scope, schedule, or budget as necessary. Additionally, the Project Manager will establish and maintain relationships with client stakeholders, ensure comprehensive documentation of project processes, and engage in continuous professional development. Normal Company business hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Some Flexibility is required as occasional extensions before or after normal company business hours, and weekends may be necessary to meet business needs, project deadlines or Stakeholder Availability Essential Functions...
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with company objectives.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and facilitate communication across departments.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet changing requirements.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Track performance using appropriate tools and report project status to stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation and maintain organized records.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
Mentor/train occasional project managers running smaller projects
Minimum Position Requirements...
  • Bachelors degree in Business or Science or equivalent. with...
  • 2 years of experience in a Project Management role.
  • PMI Certification, such as CAPM or PMP, or similar certification is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Science or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in an FDA-regulated, ISO-accredited laboratory or pharmaceutical environment would be helpful

Physical Requirements...
This is a partially active role with, periods of walking between floors and buildings daily and some filing is required.
This position would require the ability to lift 50 Lbs. (If an object weighs more than 50 Lbs. ARL requires this to be a two-person job or use of carts).
Must be fluent in written and spoken English to receive and communicate information for standard and complex operations and emergencies clearly and accurately.
Requires visual acuity to read and write words and numbers and to see in the normal visual range including ability to distinguish colors with or without correction.
