Job Description
Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Hybrid 2 days remote and 3 days onsite) Salary Range: straight pay $64/hr
Join a leading aerospace organization focused on the development and innovation of propulsion systems, including turbofan, turboprop, and turboshaft engines. Contribute to projects involving electric power-generation and distribution systems, fuel cells, and electric propulsion systems. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to oversee the design, development, and implementation of aerospace projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- 5 years of experience in engine design, turbofan or fan module design, engine module lead, and aircraft integration or aircraft/propulsion engine certification and testing.
- Strong program management skills and experience with EVMS, Cost Account management, Jira/Agile tools, and requirements-based systems engineering.
- Experience working with aircraft OEMs and other key stakeholders.
- US Citizen required.
- A bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is often preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications may be advantageous.
- Proficiency in engineering software and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Supervise the engineering team in the design and analysis of aerospace systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to facilitate project success.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address technical and project-related challenges.
- Ensure thorough documentation of project specifications, design changes, and compliance reports.
- Full-time, on-site attendance required for the first 6 months.
- Post 6 months, up to 2 days remote and 3 days on-site.
