Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking an Aerospace Senior Project Engineer to join their team. As an Aerospace Senior Project Engineer, you will be part of the Engines & Power Systems organization supporting innovative propulsion systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven project management experience which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $64/hr+ full Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Supervise the engineering team in the design and analysis of aerospace systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to facilitate project success.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address technical and project-related challenges.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of project specifications, design changes, and compliance reports.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or a related field; a master's degree is often preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in engine design, turbofan or fan module design, and aircraft integration.
  • Strong program management skills and experience with EVMS, Cost Account management, and requirements-based systems engineering.
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively.
  • Local to the Phoenix, Arizona area or willing to relocate within a very short timeframe.
